On May 1, 2020, SP Machias Troopers arrested Jeffery J. Irvine, 37, of for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Removing a Vehicle Identification Number, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree.
Troopers investigating a report of a disabled vehicle on Cadiz Road in the town of Franklinville determined Irvine was in possession of a stolen vehicle which had its VIN removed.
Irvine was arrested and released with appearance tickets for Franklinville Town Court, where he is due to appear in June.
