This week’s featured event is Rock A Mile In Their Shoes

It’s that time of year, for the 5th annual Rock A Mile show! Rock A Mile In Their Shoes is aN annual event featuring artists and bands standing in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence. Come out to Mohawk Place this Friday, January 24th to rock out and support a great cause! Doors open at 8pm for this ages 18 or older event, and admission is only $10!
This is a benefit show to raise money and awareness for the Crisis Services Advocate Program, which provides free and confidential response and support for survivors of sexual and domestic violence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Advocate Program is committed to empowering survivors of sexual and domestic violence and strives to reduce the impact of violence and build a safer community. All of the monies raised at the show will be given as a one-time donation to the Advocate Program , which is Erie County’s designated Rape Crisis Center.
This year’s lineup features performances from: Boy Jr. (Glam Pop from Rochester, NY), The Glam Vamps (Burlesque), Zak Ward (Melodically Detailed Rock), The Gennies (Blues for Recovering Punks), & DJ Sets from Mike West and Dante Velour. This year’s event is generously sponsored by Community Beer Works.
