It’s that time of year again, holiday cooking time, weather it be trying a new baking recipe, or planning a holiday party. The most important thing is to get yourself organised, which means a few list, shopping, menus, gifts, and whatever else your doing for the holidays.

If you are a big baker, go through your cabinets now, and check your supplies, make sure you have enough to get through the season and if not start buying and storing things now, this way the hit to the wallet will be easier to take.

Also start making some of your cookie dough now, and fresh them, as either unbaked or baked. Fudge, yes you can make that early as well, and keep it in a tightly sealed container in the fridge. Well you’re at try a new version, there are so many out there and great tasting ones, you just need to decide what you want to try, this year I am doing a cheesecake fudge. I will share the recipe I found at the end of the article.

New pies or cakes, different desserts, and a list of people to give some of your samples to. The holidays are about being with family and friends and the celebration of love, and laughter.

I am going to try and write an article each week until the holidays are over. It is by far my most favorite time of the year. The only thing I don’t like is that they are over way too fast. 🙂
