CLYMER — A pair of Pennsylvania man were arrested Monday following a traffic stop on Clymer-Sherman Road.

According to New York State Police, Johnathon Cole, 33, was pulled over because neither he, nor his occupant, 49-year-old Shawn Davenport were wearing their seatbelt. 

Police say that during the traffic stop, Cole was found to have a suspended driver license and be in possession of a bag containing methamphetamine. Davenport was wanted out of Crawford County, Pa. for Retail Theft.  Cole and Davenport were placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed. Cole was charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. Davenport was charged with being a fugitive from justice. 

Cole and Davenport were then transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
