This week’s featured event is Turbojugend Buffalo Analversary Party.
Governess is a Rock & Roll band from Buffalo, NY that’s been rocking the scene for a while now. With their wild on & off stage antics, they’ve amassed a great following and have celebrate every year with the “Turbojugend Buffalo Analversary Party”. Well, as they explain ” It’s too damn cold to celebrate our real anniversary in December, so we’ve adopted the unofficial last weekend of summer to have a final BLOW out!”
This year’s event will span across two days at Buffalo’s Mohawk Place on August 30th & 31st. Friday will feature performances by Pure Heel (Buffalo, NY), DBoy (Welland, ON), Hot Blood (Asbury Park, NJ), & Governess (Buffalo, NY). Saturday will feature Soul Butchers (Buffalo, NY), Thunder Vest (Pittsburgh, PA), The Turbo A.C.’s (New York, NY), The Velostacks (Houston, TX), & The Cheats (Pittsburgh, PA). Doors open at 8:00pm both nights for this Ages 18 or older event, and it’s only a $7 cover to get in!
