FREEDOM — A 41-year-old Freedom woman was charged Thursday with driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Marble Springs Road.
According to New York State Police, Nichole M. Stromecki was exhibiting obvious signs of impairment and Troopers determined she had been operating a motor vehicle in an impaired condition. She subsequently failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Stromecki was then arrested. A Drug Recognition Expert examination determined her to be impaired.

Stromecki was released with appearance tickets for Freedom Town Court, where she is due to appear in September.
