WARSAW — A 33-year-old Warsaw man was charged July 22 with criminal obstruction of breathing, second-degree menacing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree assault. 

According to New York State Police, Troopers out of SP Warsaw were dispatched to a domestic complaint that took place on State Route 19. It is alleged that David M. Snyder choked and menaced a female victim with a knife.

Snyder was arrested and processed at SP Warsaw. He was arraigned at the town of Warsaw Court by Judge Fusani and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $10,000 cash/ $20,000 bond.  

An order of protection was issued to the complainant. Snyder is to return to the town of Warsaw court on a later date.
