WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Chris Collins (NY-27) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration has allocated $5,846,045 to the Greater Rochester International. This grant will assist in the installation of airfield guidance signs and reconstruction of runway lighting.
“It is of great importance we invest federal funds into local infrastructure projects like this one,” said Congressman Collins. “This grant will provide the Greater Rochester International with updated and new resources to ensure the safety of travelers, which will ultimately increase air-traffic.”
The Congressman’s office remains available to assist any local government pursuing a federal grant.
