SHERMAN — A 29-year-old Georgia man and a 26-year-old Indiana man were charged on Thursday with numerous drug possession counts. 


According to New York State Police, Steven Bickis of Madison, Indiana was pulled over for speeding on Route 76. While speaking to the occupants, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.  A search of the occupants and vehicle revealed the following items: phychedelic mushrooms, hashish, liquid marijuana in an e-cigarette pen, LSD, multiple controlled pills for which neither occupant had a prescription, marijuana vegetation, and a pipe containing marijuana residue. 


Bickis and Derek Gramling, 29, of Cumming, Gerogia were charged with six counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana. Gramling was also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. 


The pair were placed under arrest, processed at SP Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
