Apparently, there are people in Amherst who don’t realize this is baseball season. You know, the game played by the “The Boys of Summer?”
In the months of July through early September, there are many young baseball players who aren’t going on vacation and who would love to have the youth baseball season continue this time frame.
Our youth, who know that they will be here to play baseball and that it wouldn’t interfere with the family plans, should have their parent’s contact our Town Supervisor’s office at 631-7033, or 631-7034.
The weather is perfect for playing baseball during these months.
