WATERVILLE, Maine — Area students were recently named to the highly selective Dean’s List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2018-19 academic year. A total of 443 Colby students-or 23 percent of the qualified student body-earned a spot on the Dean’s List last semester.

  • Quinn M. Doyle a member of the Class of 2022, attended Phillips Academy and is the son of Michael and Julie Doyle of Pittsford, N.Y.
  • Stephanie R. Keane a member of the Class of 2022, attended Nardin Academy and is the daughter of Daniel and Leslie Keane of Buffalo, N.Y.
  • Sarah K. Stark a member of the Class of 2022, attended Pittsford Mendon High School and is the daughter of Kathleen Stark of Pittsford, N.Y.
  • Andrea M. Swiderski a member of the Class of 2020, attended Jamestown High School and is the daughter of Robert and Kimberly Swiderski of Jamestown, N.Y.
  • Liuqingqing Yang a member of the Class of 2021, attended Brighton High School and is the daughter of Dali Yang of Rochester, N.Y. and Meixiang Yang of Maine.

Students had to earn a semester grade point average of 3.78 or higher this spring to be included on Colby’s Dean’s List.
