ALLEGANY — A 49-year-old Olean man was charged Saturday with shoplifting, accused of stealing from Wal-Mart.
According to New York State Police, Dwayne Motley had passed all points of sale with store merchandise valued at $261.72 in his possession. He abandoned the merchandise on store property before fleeing the scene.
Motley was arrested and issued an appearance ticket for Allegany Town Court, where he is due to appear in July.
