FRIENDSHIP — A 36-year-old Friendship man was charged Saturday with failure to provide sustenance following complaint that he had neglected an animal.
According to New York State Police, Troopers investigated a complaint of a malnourished and neglected dog at a residence on Castle Garden Road, concluding that Jacob C. Ellsworth neglected the dog.
Ellsworth was arrested and issued an appearance ticket for Friendship Town Court, where he is due to appear in July.
