This week’s featured event is Fuzz Fest II.
Last year the world lost an amazing person – Aaron “Fuzz” Hoellig. He was taken away from us way too soon and has left a hole in all of our lives. In order for his life and music to live on Stamps will continue to host an annual charity event to raise money in his name for causes he would have cared about. Last year they raised $3,000 which was shared between GoBike Buffalo and Music Is Art. Charities they will be raising money for this year are GoBike Buffalo and Unyts. There will be fundraising activities and live music all day! The City of Tonawanda Has Graciously given Stamps permission to close off morgan street next to the bar in order to have an additional stage outdoors with even more bands playing as well as food trucks and information on community activism and worthy causes. Performers include: Community Service Band, Crystal Godzilla, Working Class Stiffs, Radical Operations, Cardboard Homestead, Three Green, BastardBastardBastard, Donald Roth, Gentlemen of Age – GOA, Tiger the Lion, Amish Noise, Daze Ago, Poison & Prose, The Serftones, Muddle, Trashcandy Co-op, and Lay Down & Die. Community Beer Works will be on site offering tastings from 6-8, while GoBike Buffalo Community Workshop will also be on site with a mobile repair shop from 2-6! Doors open at 2:00pm, and the event will run all day. A $10 donation is asked for entry, and the outdoor stage will be family/child friendly while indoors will be for a more mature crowd. We love you Fuzz! Your spirit lives on forever in all the great music you helped to create!
