This week’s featured event is ROB FEST. On June 1, 2019, friends are hosting a gathering to celebrate the memory and life of Robert Jason Rupert. For those who don’t know, Rob was an influential guitarist and friend to our local music scene for many years, and like so many others of the like, he was taken long before his time (on June 1, 2013). Many of Rob’s closest friends are still in bands today and have agreed to perform in his honor at this event. In addition, they will be donating 100% of the proceeds to Music Is Art – a non profit organization dedicated to reshaping the culture of music and accepting all forms of music in our community. Performers include City Of Stars, Grizzly Run, Aspired Infiction, Makhai, Johnny Lucas, Hangongetready, & Idiots Of Idealism! A $10 donation is suggested for entry. Doors open at 4:00pm at South Buffalo’s Italian Restaurant/Music Venue Casa Di Francesca’s for this All Ages event.
