TECHNICAL MUSIC REVIEW
Hidden Lapse have announced their lead single titled “Dead Jester” from their upcoming debut album “Butterflies”. The album is scheduled to be released May 31st through Rockshots Records. This Progressive Power Metal band has a nice sound, led by the wild and melodic vocals of Alessia. The rhythms are really engaging, and the music isn’t cheesy by any means. That is my only gripe with any power metal influenced band, and Hidden Lapse has trumped any hint of cheese with their music. “Dead Jester” is a great lead single, and am interested to hear any other songs they could release before May 31st.
