Amherst Police have released the identity of a 76-year-old Williamsville man who suffered an apparent medical emergency that led to a two-vehicle crash Tuesday on Essjay Road.
Dennis J. McDonnell, who was transported to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after the accident, was transferred Wednesday to Erie County Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
The driver of the vehicle that was allegedly struck by McDonnell’s car was identified as 40-year-old Mary K. Conrad of Kenmore, according to Amherst Police. Conrad and a 2-year-old passenger in her vehicle were both treated for minor injuries after the accident.
