LATHAM — Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

  • Christian Presto from North Tonawanda, and assigned to the 105th Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
  • Jordan McCarville from Depew, and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Michael Krotz from Buffalo, and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 152nd Brigade Engineer Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Staff Sergeant.
  • Seth Sklar from Hinsdale, and assigned to the 152nd Engineer Support Company received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Luke Trippi from Fairport, and assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1-258th field Artillery received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
