MACHIAS — A 24-year-old Machias man was charged Wednesday with DWI refusal following a motor vehicle crash investigation.
According to New York State Police, Troopers investigated a 1 car property damage motor vehicle accident where Joshua W. Mckune was found to be the operator and had failed to maintain his lane on dry roads. Mckune was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s and transported to SP Machias for processing. During processing, Mckune refused to provide a breath sample.
Mckune was arraigned in the Town of Machias Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $10,000 bail.
