ALMOND — A 53-year-old Andover woman was charged Tuesday with driving while ability impaired by drugs following a traffic stop on State Route 21.
According to New York State Police, Elizabeth J. Porter was seen driving erratically. After conducting a traffic stop, they determined Porter had been operating her motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Porter was arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing.
Porter was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Almond Town Court in January.
