ELLICOTTVILLE — A 38-year-old Saint Mary’s, Pa., woman was charged today with driving while intoxicated and inadequate headlights following a traffic stop on Route 219. Accoring to New York State Police, Troopers stopped Michelle L. Hand for inadequate lights. Hand was placed under arrest after failing SFST’s and transported to SP Ellicottville for processing. Hand recorded a .08 percent blood alcohol content.
Hand was arraigned at the Town of Ashford court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County jail.
