A 22-year-old Kennedy man was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on November 20, 2018 following a CPS welfare check.
According to New York State Troopers, while assisting Chautauqua County Child Protective Services with a welfare check on an infant, officers observed two grams of marijuana, a bag containing methamphetamine and a straw containing residue in the living room. Austin Muntz was placed under arrest, processed at SP Jamestown and released with appearance tickets directing him to appear in the town of Poland Court on a later date.
Muntz was not impaired at the time of the authorities’ arrival.
