JAMESTOWN — A 47-year-old Buffalo woman was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 60.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a report of a rolling domestic incident where Sherell Tanner was allegedly driving south on Route 60 while drinking beer and being verbally abusive to the caller. The suspect vehicle was located by the Troopers on Route 60 in Jamestown and pulled over. Tanner was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs and transported to SP Jamestown where she provided a breath sample of .13. Tanner was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the town of Ellicott Court and released. Tanner is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court later in the month.
