A 24-year-old Erie, PA woman was charged with False Personation on October 29, 2018 following a routine traffic stop. 

According to New York State Troopers, a vehicle in which Tiffany Sutton was a passenger was pulled over on I-86 in Bemus Point for speeding and during the traffic stop, Sutton identified herself to Troopers using a different first name. When her correct identity was obtained and it was discovered she had warrants out of Erie County, Sutton was placed under arrest. Sutton was transported to SP Jamestown where she was processed, arraigned in the town of Ellery Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. 

The Erie County Sheriff’s Department was advised of Sutton’s arrest.
