BUFFALO, N.Y. — University at Buffalo center James O’Hagan earned a pair of midseason honors on the Tuesday. The senior team captain was named to the USA TODAY Sports Midseason All-America Second Team as well as Pro Football Focus Midseason All-America honorable mention.


A fourth-year starter, O’Hagan is the anchor of the Bulls’ offensive line. Buffalo has allowed only one sack on the season to lead the nation. In addition, UB ranks fourth in the country in tackles for loss allowed with 25. 


O’Hagan is a two-time All-MAC selection. He has been named to the Rimington Award Preseason Watch List three straight years. The award is given annually to the best center in college football.

O’Hagan has helped lead the Bulls to a 6-1 record. Buffalo will next play at Toledo on Saturday.
