A Lancaster man was charged with Felony Burglary 2nd on October 16, 2018 following a call to police about a home invasion.
According to New York State Troopers, officers received a complaint from a homeowner in Alden that several items including a cell phone and jewelry were missing from their home. Troopers investigated, and with the help of the victim, they were able to locate the missing phone. Charlie Papke was in possession of the phone, and subsequently admitted to taking the other items on October 12 after breaking into the residence.
Papke was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd a felony. He has a return court date in Alden.
