STAFF REPORTS

A 39-year-old Jamestown woman was charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on October 5, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

Accoring to New York State Troopers, Christina Guinnane was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for a traffic violation, and while speaking to Guinnane, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Guinnane and the vehicle revealed a bag containing marijuana, three marijuana cigarettes, six Xanax pills, 2.5 Lortabs, two different types of Adderall pills and a black gravity knife. All of the pills were controlled substances for which Guinnane did not have a prescription. Guinnane was placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed.

Guinnane was then issued appearance tickets and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court later in the month.
