CLARENCE — This weekend marks the third weekend of the Great Pumpkin Farm’s Fall Festival, and includes one of the most popular events: the World Pumpkin Weigh-off!
Last year’s winning pumpkin, at 1,971.5 lbs, came VERY close to winning the $10,000 cash prize (awarded for any pumpkin weighing over 2,000 lbs.) and DID set a New York State record! Will it finally happen this weekend!?!? Will there be a record-setting pumpkin and $10,000 cash winner?!?
What you need to know about the Fall Festival:
Dates/Times: The Fall Festival runs weekends from Saturday, September 15 through
Sunday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. to dusk
The Festival also runs on Monday, October 8 (Columbus Day)
From 10:00 a.m. to dusk
Cost: Admission to the Fall Festival is $8.00/person
(children two and under admitted free)
Discounted tickets are available at all Buffalo and Rochester Wegmans.
Location: The Great Pumpkin Farm is located at 11199 Main Street in Clarence and features plenty of free, onsite parking.
