A 36-year-old Gerry man was charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree on September 17, 2018 following a domestic incident.
According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to a residence in Gerry for a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that during an argument, Torry Stephens physically restrained the victim, preventing her from leaving the residence and afterward he broke a window. Stephens was taken into custody and processed at SP Jamestown.
Stephens was then arraigned in the town of Charlotte Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
