A 48-year-old Jamestown man was charged with DWI on September 15, 2018 following a rear-end collision.

According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to a report of an accident on Kiantone Road in Jamestown. Investigation revealed that Jason Porter rear-ended a vehicle that was waiting to make a left turn. Porter was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs and transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .17.

Porter was then processed, issued tickets directing him to appear in the town of Kiantone Court later in the month and released. Neither Porter nor the driver of the other vehicle were injured in the collision.
