A 61-year-old Ellington man was charged with DWI on September 12, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, Wilfred Washer was pulled over on Route 394 in Poland for a traffic violation and after failing several SFSTs, Washer was placed under arrest. Washer was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .09. Washer was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the town of Poland Court and released.
Washer is scheduled to appear in the town of Poland Court later in the month.
