STAFF REPORTS

A 37-year-old Great Valley man was charged with DWI on September 10, 2018 following a report of a driver passed out at the wheel.

According to New York State Troopers, after responding to a report of a disabled vehicle on SR417 in the town of Great Valley, Troopers were alerted by Seneca Nation Marshals, who were already on scene, that a male was passed out behind the wheel. The Troopers’ investigation determined Brett J. Lafferty had been operating his vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He was arrested and transported to SP Olean, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.08% BAC.

Lafferty was released with appearance tickets returnable to Great Valley Town Court later this month.
