BUFFALO, N.Y. — Three University at Buffalo football players were named to the 2019 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List. Chuck HarrisKhalil Hodge and Anthony Johnson were all named to the list. 
Harris is a senior defensive end who is coming off the best season of his career. In 2017, he ranked third on the team in tackles with 73 and second on the team with seven tackles for loss and four sacks. Harris was a third-team All-MAC pick last season.  
Hodge is entering his third season with the Bulls after earning All-MAC honors over his first two. He totaled more tackles (277) than any other player in the nation over the last two seasons. In 2017, he racked up a MAC-best 154 stops, the most ever by a UB player in its FBS era. He ranked second in the nation in tackles in 2017. Hodge is also on the preseason watch lists for the Nagurski, Butkus and Bednarik Awards.
Johnson is coming off a breakout season with the Bulls. In 2017, he had 76 catches for 1,356 yards and a school-record 14 touchdowns. He ranked second in the nation in receiving yards per game (113.0) and third in receiving touchdowns (14). The All-MAC First Team selection had six games of 140 or more receiving yards which was tops in the country. Johnson is on the watch lists for the Maxwell and Biletnikoff Awards.
Harris, Hodge and Johnson are three of the 11 players from the Mid-American Conference on the list.
The 70th annual Reese’s Senior Bowl is January 26, 2019 in Mobile, AL. A long NFL tradition, more than 1,000 representatives from the 32 NFL clubs gather in Mobile starting on the Monday of game week (Jan. 21 in 2019) to interview players, attend the National Scouting Weigh-in and watch three practices for the North and South teams.
