JAMESTOWN — A 41-year-old Ohio woman was charged earlier today with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 60.
According to New York State Police, Troopers pulled over Colleen Mattix of North Olmsted, Ohio, for talking on her cell phone and while speaking to Mattix, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Mattix and her vehicle revealed a bag containing 10 grams of marijuana. Mattix was placed under arrest and subsequently released with an appearance ticket, directing her to appear in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.
