A 25-year-old East Aurora woman was charged with DWI on August 19, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, Paige Pelton was pulled over on State Route 400 in the Town of West Seneca for speeding. Troopers observed the odor of beverage alcohol on Pelton. She was administered sobriety tests which she failed. She was taken into custody and transported to the Elma barracks where she refused the breath tests.
Pelton was processed for Driving While Intoxicated and released on tickets returnable to the Town of West Seneca Court.
