On August 15, 2018 at 6:32 P.M., New York State Troopers responded to a one vehicle collision on Abbott Road in the town of Lyndon. Further investigation revealed that a 2006 Jeep Liberty was traveling eastbound on Abbott Road and was operated by Karen M. Putt age 42 .
The vehicle crossed over into the oncoming lane and exited the roadway and struck a tree.
Putt was pronounced at the scene and an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
