CANTON, N.Y. — St. Lawrence University coaches nominated students into Chi Alpha Sigma, recognizing outstanding college student-athletes who excel in the classroom, in their sport, and in the community.

Tyler D. Frame of Pittsford. Frame is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in economics and business in the liberal arts. Frame attended Pittsford Sutherland High School. Frame is a member of the men’s rowing team at St. Lawrence.

Melissa A. Grosshans of Barker. Grosshans is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in psychology. Grosshans attended Barker Central School. Grosshans is a member of the field hockey team at St. Lawrence.

Christian A. Jennette of Pittsford. Jennette is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in biology. Jennette attended Pittsford Sutherland High School. Jennette is a member of the men’s golf team at St. Lawrence.

Erin E. Nason of East Aurora. Nason is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in government. Nason attended East Aurora High School. Nason is a member of the women’s rowing team at St. Lawrence.

Students are nominated to this society by their head coaches for their contributions to their team, for their moral character and for having achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
