GENESEE — A 31-year-old Bradford, Pa. man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a report of a car off the roadway.
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to the report of a car off of the roadway and into a ditch on Butternut Brook Road. Upon arrival John M. Lekas was identified as the driver, and while being interviewed the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. SFSTs were conducted which Lekas failed.
He was arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing where he recorded a 0.14% BAC. He was released on tickets and is due in the Town of Genesee Court.
