On August 5th, 2018, Troopers out of SP Jamestown charged James Murray, 29 and Emily Walker, 32, both of Sherman, with Unlawfully Growing Cannabis.
According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to a residence in Sherman to assist Child Protective Services with an investigation. While attempting to locate Murray and Walker, 12 marijuana plants were observed growing on the property. Murray and Walker were eventually located and placed under arrest.
Murray and Walker were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court on a later date.
