PAWTUCKET, R.I. — Longtime Major League veteran Brandon Phillips hit a walk-off, three-run homer to send the Pawtucket Red Sox to a 7-4 win over the Red Wings Friday night at McCoy Stadium. 
The Wings, on the strength of a three-run homer from Willians Astudillo, led 4-2 in the seventh inning.
The Paw Sox got a run back in the seventh on an RBI single to Rusney Castillo and tied the game at four in the eighth on solo home run from Josh Ockimey off Tyler Duffey.
Phillips’ homer came off Duffey with two outs in the ninth inning.
Stephen Gonsalves entered in the second inning and tossed 5.1 innings allowing two runs on five hits and three walks.
The homer for Astudillo was his 11th of the year and hitting a total of 17 homers over his first eight minor league seasons.
Nick Anderson made the start for the Wings as they experimented with the Opener strategy. He allowed one run on four hits with three strikeouts in 1.2 innings.
Edgar Corcino and Juan Graterol each had two hits for the Wings.
The Wings and Paw Sox continue their three-game set Saturday night at McCoy Stadium.
