CLEVELAND, O.H. — The Mid-American Conference has officially announced the conference schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 basketball season, the conference office announced on Wednesday morning. The Bulls will play nine home MAC games inside Alumni Arena and nine road MAC games. 
The Bulls will play each of the MAC east schools twice as well as Central Michigan and Ball State while taking on the remaining MAC west schools just once.
UB will open up their conference slate at home on Saturday, January 5 as they welcome MAC East foe Ohio for a showdown. The Bulls will then be on the road for two straight matches as they head to Ypsilanti, MI to take on Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, January 9 before closing the road trip in Oxford, OH as they battle to scrappy Miami (OH) RedHawks.
Three of the next four for UB will take place inside Alumni Arena as they welcome MAC west foe Ball State on Wednesday, January 16, MAC east rival Akron on Wednesday, January 23 and Northern Illinois on Saturday, January 26. The one road contest will take place in Kalamazoo, MI as they Bulls will take on the Broncos on Saturday, January 19 in a rematch of the MAC semifinals from a season ago in which UB downed Western Michigan.
Buffalo will then hit the road for their toughest stretch as they will wrap up January with a matchup against the Ball State Cardinals on January 30 before heading to the defending MAC Champions and nationally ranked Central Michigan Chippewas on Saturday, February 2.
The Bulls will then play three of their next four at home before enjoying their bye week from February 17 through February 23. The three home matches will feature Toledo on Wednesday, February 6, Kent State on Saturday, February 9 and Central Michigan on Saturday, February 16. UB will head to Bowling Green on Wednesday, February 13 in their first meeting of the season.
February will conclude with back-to-back road games for the Bulls as they will travel to Akron on Saturday, February 23 and Ohio on Wednesday, February 27 for a pair of crucial MAC east battles. Buffalo opens up March with two straight home games as Miami (OH) comes to town on Saturday, March 2 for Senior Day before the home slate concludes on Wednesday, March 6 with Bowling Green coming to town.
UB will wrap up their regular season slate on the road against Kent State on Saturday, March 9. The MAC tournament will begin on Monday, March 11 with the first round games taking place on campus sites before moving to the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH for the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship games from March 13-16.
Season ticket renewals for the 2018-19 UB women’s basketball season tickets will be mailed out the week of August 20. Those wishing to purchase new season tickets for the season can begin to do so on August 20 by stopping by the UB Ticket office or by calling at 1-877-UB-THERE.
