PRESS RELEASE

WILLIAMSVILLE — Congressman Chris Collins (NY-27) announced rural development loans and grants to the Town of Springwater totaling $523,000. The funding was approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and will be used to upgrade the local sewer system to meet health and sanitary standards for the residents of the town.

“This is an essential project for the residents of Springwater,” said Collins. “These necessary upgrades to aging infrastructure will ensure safe, clean, and accessible water for the residents of Springwater. I am pleased to see the Trump Administration has kept its promise to support rural communities.”

The town of Springwater will receive a $356,000 loan and a $167,000 grant.

Rural community leaders can apply for these funds electronically by using the interactive RD Apply tool. They can also apply through one of USDA Rural Development’s state or field offices.
