BOLIVAR — The Bolivar Police Department and the NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) out of SP Amity are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred at Steuben Trust, 319 Main St at approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
SP Amity BCI are assisting the Bolivar Police Department in which a suspect walked into Steuben Trust Bank and demanded money by a handwritten note. The suspect was given an undetermined amount of money and exited on foot.
**The male has since been identified by New York State Police as Chase H. Lotter, 27 of Genesee, NY. SP Amity and Bolivar Police Department have obtained Arrest Warrants for Lotter in regard to the Bolivar Steuben Trust Bank robbery on July 24, 2018 and the robbery at Belmont Crosby’s. Lotter is believed to be operating a stolen Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, color green, bearing NY registration 47120JK.
