A 28 year old Allegany man was charged with DWI on July 27, 2018 following a traffic accident.
According to New York State Troopers, as the result of an investigation following a hit-and-run property damage automobile accident on South 1st Street in the village of Allegany, officers determined that Steven M. Faulkner had been operating his vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He was arrested and transported to SP Olean, where he refused to submit to a chemical breath test.
Faulkner was arraigned in Carrollton Town Court, released on his own recognizance, and ordered to appear in Allegany Village Court in August.
