A 26 year old Jamestown woman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree on July 17, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, Andrea Keeney was pulled over on I-86 in Jamestown for speeding and while speaking to Keeney, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A small amount of marijuana was located on the floor of the vehicle and a suboxone strip was located inside Keeney’s purse. As Keeney did not have a prescription for suboxone she placed under arrest.

Keeney was transported to SP Jamestown where she was processed, issued tickets returnable to the town of Ellicott Court and released. Keeney is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court later in the month.
