PRESS RELEASE
From July 5 to July 8, the New York State Police and the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office conducted an investigation into drug sales occurring in and around the Blue Heron Music Festival in Sherman NY. NY State Police – Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) members and Troopers from the Jamestown, Fredonia and Collins offices took part in this investigation, and as a result, the following subjects were arrested:
Nathaniel A. Holland, age 55 of Buffalo NY charged with Imitation Controlled Substance, and UPM. Defendant has a long criminal history with numerous violent felonies.
Kyle N. Neubeck, age 24 North Collins NY charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th (2cts)
Michael J. Golden, age 27 of Jamestown NY charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th (2cts)
Joshua A. Reeves, age 33 of North East PA charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th (2cts). Reeves is pending an analysis of a third buy (AII felony)
Jacob L. Gilbert, age 33 of North East PA charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th (2cts), Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 2nd (AII Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (2 cts), Criminal Use Drug Paraphernalia, resisting arrest. Gilbert is also pending lab analysis of a third buy, (AII felony)
Joseph J. Violanti, age 27 of Eden NY charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th (4cts)
Patrick J. Summers, age 23 of Deposit NY charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 4th, (3cts).
In addition to the above arrests, Troopers also made 8 arrests for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (Violation), 3 arrests for Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th (Misdemeanor), 3 arrests for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (Misdemeanor), and 2 arrests for driving while intoxicated.
The following property and drugs were seized:
One Dodge Ram Pickup and camper.
Over $3,000 US Currency
Cocaine
Synthetic Cocaine
LSD
MDMA
Mushrooms
Concentrated Cannabis
Marijuana
Edibles
Diazapam
Alprazolam
The State Police received assistance from the Jamestown Police Department, NYS Forest Rangers, Chautauqua County Probation and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
This investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.
