UnilandDevelopment Co. unveils plan to build $12 million dollar homes where the old Park Lane restaurant stood before it was closed down and demolished on Gates Circle in Buffalo. The homes will have luxury amenities such as personal elevators.  I’m glad for Uniland. They must not be as desperate as they sounded when they asked for the $1.2 million tax break from the Amherst IDA

This Friday, July 6th at 8:30 a.m. at the Amherst IDA headquarters, 4287 Main Street, Amherst, New York, our IDA will decide wither or not to give them what they want, $1.2 million dollars in tax breaks.

As always, the public is welcome to come to this meeting and speak if they care about this project or any other project the Amherst IDA brings up.

Remember citizens of Amherst. Don’t ask why your taxes go up. It’s your taxes that pay for these tax breaks.

Uniland has threatened they will not build this hotel if they don’t get these tax breaks. They have been honest in saying they will find another place to build their hotel. Good luck to them.
