STEAMBURG — A 22-year-old Silver Creek woman was charged today with two counts of third-degree assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to New York State Police, The Troopers responded to Old Route 280 for a report of criminal mischief. During the investigation, the responding Troopers observed two children, ages three and one, with untreated facial injuries. Tiffany Rammacher originally claimed the children became injured while playing outside a few days prior, however the investigation revealed that in a rage, Rammacher threw a gallon-size pot at the one year old and a sippy cup at the three year old, resulting in facial bruising.

Rammacher was arrested for the above charges, processed at SP Jamestown and arraigned in the Cattaraugus County Court. Rammacher was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the town of Cold Spring Court on a later date. The victims have since been removed from Rammacher.
