A 36 year old Franklinville man was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, unlawful possession of marijuana, and probation warrant, vehicle, and traffic violations on June 26, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, officers were investigating a vehicle and traffic complaint when Kenny R. Everts was identified as the operator of the vehicle and also found to have an active probation warrant in Cattaraugus County. Everts was seen operating the vehicle on State Route 16 in the Town of Franklinville. While interviewing Everts, marijuana was observed in plain view and numerous narcotic paraphernalia items were located with white powder residue.
Everts was processed at SP Machias and arrainged in the Town of Farmersville.
