A 39 year old Albion man was charged with DWI on June 27, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, officers stopped Jeremiah H. Mitchell on State Route 98 in the town of Carlton for failing to signal. While speaking to Mitchell, Troopers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mitchell was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFSTs and transported to SP Albion where he provided a breath sample of .16 BAC.

Mitchell was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Carlton Court for July 2018.
